Phone connectivity stops when I turn volume or HVAC dials

I can be using CarPlay and talking on the phone until I turn the volume up or down or change the temperature. It says that I am still connected, but I have to change to the phone speaker or phone directly to continue the conversation. Happened today when I put the shifter into park. Time to schedule a service or is there a fix out there?

Unpair and repair you phone. That usually fixes it
