I think I need to update my MCU. My Sync stuff has started intermittently not come up at all. Some times I get everything, Other times the screen is completely blank. I'm on 50 IIRC.
How did you tell your version

Possibly it is the latest. Tracking down the newest MCU version is a PITA and Phoenix does a terrible job of putting it out there. Well I guess it's more like they don't advertise any updates at all.

FaceTimed with Phoenix and was able to reproduce it on the phone with them. They are reaching out to their devs about it. Nothing major to report at the moment.

They said I was “on the latest software”

Did they say anything about the custom ROM?

Nothing yet. I could ask serg or the Facebook group if anyone there has come across this issue.

It sounds exactly like what Guy ran into with his mcu version 52 upgrade.

Phoenix sent me a new px6 file. Checking with Serg to see if this undoes the firmware he sent.

Alright rolled back to mcu version E050 from E055 to see if it fixes my issue as it seemed to for Guy.

This version was linked in this post https://www.fordraptorforum.com/posts/1439652/

After updating things seemed to function as normal so far.

Also I found you can open the RL7A.bin file in a text editor (vim, sublime, etc) or HEX editor and search for KWY_E to find the version.

Vim editor with normal bin file

Vim w/ command “:%! Xxd” (for hex editor view of bin file)

This morning I was unable to reproduce the issue. Every morning this week the issue happened on first startup of my truck so this seems like a good sign.
