Just wanted to add that Nova Launcher makes a huge improvement on the usefulness of the tablet. Night and day. There is no reason not to install it. It allows you to setup the screen pretty much the way you would on your phone, with bigger fonts. Now if I could just remove the top bar entirely...

Removing the TXZ Speech to Text app was just about as helpful, opening up voice commands for Google and Alexa.

Big thanks to @Gtibbot.

Agreed. Finally had time to fiddle with Nova Launcher, and man, I kick myself for waiting so long. I haven't got "OK Google" to work yet. I did remove TXZ Speech and Alexa works with Amazon music, but would like to be able to use more voice commands with regards to navigation.

You might need to do a couple of things. The 1st thing is to make sure that in Nova Settings in the Gestures & Input, make sure you have OK Google integration turned on.

Yep, it really is! The only glitch I'm working out now is when starting the truck and the unit boots up to Nova, the Sync 2 amp is chosen by default and you get no sound from the applications with Nova.

The quick fix is switch to Sync unit and back to Nova. When I get time I'm going to play around with Tasker and the Auto Input plugin to see if I can simulate the process on boot-up.

I’ve had this issue 100% of the time from the PX3 to the PX6. I thought it was normal behavior.

Noticed the same issue yesterday. Sync 3 here. Have to let us know how you do with Tasker and auto input.

So I noticed with google assistant if I use ok google to say... start pandora... works great. If I try to use ok google to pause or close pandora it tells me I need to specify the name of the device. Except from what I can tell the device is just called tablet? Has anyone experienced this or a workaround?

You need to enable Pandora voice mode within the app setting. You probably will have to go into the Google settings and allow Pandora access to the mic as well
