Phoenix tells me they fixed the OEM sync nav. It has to be flipped over and they provide a longer cable. Jonnie was right.

They also say they have the 360 camera button now working as you’d think it would.

Just about every bug is getting cleaned up in time for px6, so I’m told.

That’s great news. All cables will probably fit better too. It has a nasty 90 degree bend in them now. I’ll be getting a hold of them shortly for a longer cable.

Great news, these little quirks mentioned above are my gripes with the current version. Maybe I'll upgrade to the PX6 version.

It seems they can make cables there on the spot, so hopefully they can whip up a batch locally to get everyone covered. I noticed that the new cable they made was longer and not at the limit to connect the two points. The first version they made, which didn't have the same sheathing as the original cable, had interference issues which would cause the Sync 3 screen to continuously flicker. The final cable has the same sheathing as the original.

See my post above.

The cable isn’t long enough to reach. They have to provide new ones unless you want to try to hack and splice it I suppose.

******* OEM NAV FIXED *******

Don’t understand why this is needed, thought “everything just works”.

Ok joking aside this is good news, I’ll probably order the upgraded tablet hardware. My only last gripe would be not being able to see the screen with polarized sunglasses, any info on this?

Looks like signup3 works for 3% off. The 4th of July discount expired yesterday. I tried the comeback5 and it did not work for me but may for you.

The shop is in S. Cal. I have a house in Irvine also and my truck is over here for now. (Escaping the TX heat!)

Still can't see the screen head on with polarized sunglasses. You have to tilt your head > 45 degrees to get a sight picture.

Switching between applications is also noticeably quicker from what I remember, and the graphics animation on the tablet is really smooth. The animation on google maps is on par with any decent data phone, and the touch interface is just as responsive.

I'm putting a list together of a few small bugs that I hope will get worked out with a software update. They're mostly related to using the steering wheel music controls (next/previous track)

Thanks Amp. Did they make any changes to the UI/theme (e.g. calendar/city pic on homescreen, Raptor pic with gauges bottom half)? Or is the exact same as we have now on the PX3?
