I have been trying to page through all the threads and use the search, to find pictures of the performance blue. Ive found some but figured it would be easier to make a thread. Lot of them seem to be in overcast weather as well.

If you could, can you please post pics of your performance blue truck. None of the dealerships near me have it in stock. Right now I am leaning towards that color. Hopefully I will be able to see it in person.

I saw velocity blue on a regular f150 and it just seemed to bright.

Just wanted to see how it looked in various lighting situations.

Thanks in advance!

Not to troll on Performance Blue lovers, but I will share with you my story...

Ordered 2019 PB in October (sight unseen obviously). In November/December, started getting some Ford Edge ST reviews and pics of PB on it... started to worry. In December/January started seeing pics of PB Raptors (auto shows, then owner pics)... tried to convince myself that it was not too bad... it had to be better in person. End of January my PB Raptor showed up at the dealership... I spotted it across the lot and immediately said to myself "it will be better close up".

It wasn't... the only word that came to mind is "Feminine". Here is a $70k Baja truck that looks like it was intended for a female... great for them, but not for me. I refused the delivery and got my deposit back.

The lesson learned is, if you are doubting it, if you have to see more and more pictures of it to convince yourself... its not the color for you.

PB was intended to be a more economical mass produced color that approximates the Ford GT's "Liquid Blue"... it does not.

That’s your opinion. Mine is, in no way is a darker blue(PB) then Velocity Blue “Feminine”. I saw both VB and PB in person before I ordered my truck. They way the truck looks when not in direct sun light sold me. There’s almost a gray to it. Like you stated above. Seeing a truck in more, and more pictures. Pictures don’t do it justice. Just like pictures don’t do the Recaro seats justice. To each his own.

Exactly! Dude is trolling! Maybe the color isn’t for you but it is in no way feminine. I traded my Lead Foot in for the PB. I loved that It almost felt like it had a little grey to it. There was a Velocity Blue right next to it on the lot. I could have bought either. IMG_8624.jpg
