it seems to be a color that shifts alot depending on how light hits it from what i can tell. do you guys notice the color seems to change depending on the sun light? from a lighter pal to a deep steelish blue color
Exactly depends on the time of day. It’s really unique.

Exactly! Dude is trolling! Maybe the color isn’t for you but it is in no way feminine. I traded my Lead Foot in for the PB. I loved that It almost felt like it had a little grey to it. There was a Velocity Blue right next to it on the lot. I could have bought either. View attachment 118817

Having an opinion that's different from yours isn't trolling. Color is probably the most subjective choice you can make in a vehicle. He didn't like performance blue, but based on the number of people buying that color it seems plenty popular.

That being said, I ordered PB back in September after having only seen a small color swatch. The dealer had a mustang in VB and I thought it was simply too bright.... Some might say feminine. After some photos of PB started to show up, I was second guessing myself. At first, it really came across as powder blue. Gross. But the more photos I saw the more I noticed the color shift. Last week I was at my dealer to pick up a part and saw an Edge ST in PB. I'm sold. It's just a great color and I'm happy I chose it.

The real reaction will be when I take delivery, which will hopefully be soon. Truck is being built on Tuesday!

Yes the color changes a lot I saw it at the auto show… As far as feminine I’ve had pink is for girls and blue is for boys ?

I think Performance and Velocity Blue both look good, but as stated above, color choice is very personal and what looks good to one person may not to another. The important thing is that you are happy with whatever color you choose. Of course everybody knows Lightning Blue Raptors are faster, but then again, I may be a little biased.

Of course each person has their preferences. I was merely sharing my experience with PB, and cautioning that it is a polarizing enough color that it should be seen in person before committing $70k to it.

I actually like it , I like the most metallic blue colors however I do not think I will order my raptor in blue

There are very very few colors on the road I do not like however there are quite a few that I would not purchase my car or truck in

I wouldn't either because lightning blue is no longer an option. But PB and VB look pretty good as well.

I agree, but when you start off your post saying "not to troll the PB lovers", you're trolling! When you say "the only word that came to mind is "Feminine". Here is a $70k Baja truck that looks like it was intended for a female", you're trolling. The only thing I sense here is a guy that's not so secure in his manhood. :sorrysign:
