AMP Steps Backorder?

I’ve been waiting for two months with no official word from local shop apart from SEMA delayed production delivery etc.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I never wanted AMP steps to begin with then reminded myself how great they were on past trucks. Guess my gut was right…!

I've been looking at the Rough Country power steps as I've heard great things about them and haven't heard anyone justify the added cost of AMP, in comparison. Hopefully someone with first hand knowledge can chime in either for or against.
