I believe these hook up through OBD stuff my guess is programming is different by generation. On the OEM there is option for leaving deployed sorta a PIA but one way to protect truck. If using all the time be ez to program a switch. Auto unless toggled than locked deployed.

Selling on F150 forum or local Facebook marketplace will be easier IMHO. These are one of the best upgrades people want on standard F150. Price wise these are a steal !!

There are times when the running boards will prevent a door ding. Many times they won’t. Bu parking far away usually will. GWS.

Dang these are cheap! I like the rock chip protection of stock running boards but these would make life easier on my wife getting in truck.
