I can tell you I have had a lift for 8000 miles and no indication of trouble or problems. I have just finished a inspection on the parts and since I don't jump my truck, only put it in 4wd when needed (meaning I don't drive around on hard packed ground or pavement in 4wd). I don't have a binding issue, I also with my recent inspection measured angles and figured out the difference between my lift and mid perch. My lift creates a 1/4 inch greater angle than mid perch does at full drop. The reason is other components hold up the axles not just the shock mount. Now I don't know about every lift out there and can only tell you what I see and what I have. Yes mid perch does affect the comfort in the way the truck feels when you drive it. This being the only reason to spend money to raise the truck is my reason. The 90% of the time I drive it I want the Cadillac ride and comfort it provides. I have no question as to what Big J says or believes his own experience is, was. The bottom line for me so far is simple I don't mind forking over 350.00 every 50k miles to replace axles if that's what it comes too. I also don't drive that aggressively off road and would consider myself a candy ass compared to some others I have seen drive rather recklessly and think the other broken stuff is adding up to much more. Simply put this is not a 250k trophy truck, its not even a 50k trophy truck. Its a much better than the factory stock F-150, or any Chevy, Toyota truck out there off the showroom floor... If you drive it as hard as I have seen some get driven this is really an amazing truck in its category. If you want to run spacers then do it, its your truck just pay attention and realize what your doing. The lift I use is ready lift and I will tell you if I develop a problem other than expected in the next 100k miles ...Ready lift T6-2055B T6 Billet 2.0 lift kit.. It has no gaps is a quality made piece and looks great to me. The actual block is only 1.25 inches tall so it actually lifts the front less than the Mid perch adjustment. I am simply saying mine is working for me and to each his own. I will report back after my 15k checkup and see how things are going...

The consensus is obviously for mid-perch... what I'd like to say is shop around!

$400 is way overpriced for two hours of work and an alignment. It's a simple job. You should be able to find someone to do it for much less. WSI did mine for $150 (without alignment).

Mid perch! Never ever ever ever ever in your life ever put a leveling kit or lift kit on a raptor to level it out or lift it. Putting a spacer or leveling kit on the front changes the angles of the cv shafts and tears up the joints and other things. Just get the mid perch done and you'll be happy! There's a big thread on here from bigJ about it he had a level kit put on his raptor back in 2010 and well it wasn't pretty what it did to the entire front end do a search and read up on it! Hope this all helps.

You mean 37's? The stock tires are 35. Well not true 35's bit pretty close.

It's decent it has some noticeable gains when you first accelerate the thing I like about the afe stage 2 is the dry filter you can just wash it and you don't need to oil it its simple to maintain

Well you can get a true 35 inch tire and be fine. It's when you go up to 37's that's when you start having rubbing issues and have to trim a few things. But doing the mid perch you'll be fine doing a true 35 or anything smaller than a 37 should be good
