Just bought 2014 and it has a spacer block and is on the lowest perch. Going to remove the block and set to mid perch this week. Do you guys know if its just removing the block, or is there a stock sized block that i need to put back in? Want to know what I might need on hand before I pull the front end apart.
Thanks

Remove the spacer...set Coilovers to Mid or Top Perch...Done!

I take it this has about 2-3" of spacer lift?

It also has some kind of alignment ring on top of the tower. After reading this I want to do the top perch mod or get new coils. I also want to get a caster camber kit.I am running a 10k winch and about 60lbs of lights and brackets.

Now for the questions.
Should I keep the top adjustment ring?
How much lift will the top perch mod?
Would I be better just buying new progressive springs?
I have 40k miles so Im thinking about getting the shocks rebuilt. The previous owner must have rode this truck a little rough. Mud was caked on everything underneath. Had some dents in the front skid. Also all kinds of grass and hay.

Thank you for any help.
Bill

If you put in the RPG collars on the shock, do you have to perform a front end alignment afterwards?

Yes you should get an alignment done, even with the 1.5 collar. I️ did the 1.5 RPG and took I️t to 2 different places who could not do I️t though because their alignment software was not up to date yet for the 2018 models. So I️ will ask the dealer to do I️t when I️ go in for my first oil change.
