Perch mod for 2012

what are the benefits of doing this?

-Increased ground clearance
-Levels the front to rear or (if you like) the ass down effect depending on which perch you set
-Less nose dive when braking
-Firmer, stiffer ride (benefit or con depending on who you ask)

Yeah, there's no change with the 2012 vs the 2010 or 2011. I really want to do mine, but I might not fit in the garage and I really don't want to lose my plush and amazing ride. Before anyone calls me out, I did the middle-perch on my Supercab and it was a different ride for ME.

i have been waiting for someone to admit that they liked the stock ride better than the perch after doing the perch. Would a leveling kit raise the truck but keep the softer ride?

When I went to pick up my rig, I got an up close look at everything and nothing has really changed from previous years. The dealer finally admitted that because the Raptor was placed on the lowest perch for the DOT approval, they were hesitant to let a new sale "illegal" truck roll off the lot! I took this as a lack of specific experience with the truck, so I'll get the mod done by another shop instead.

On another note, I would like to thank the FRF admin and the powers that be with getting such a list of awesome vendors. Randy (the man!) was also super helpful when I was checking prices on the truck, and I already have gear from ADD (thanks Jason) and RPG (thanks Jarrett) on order!

funny thing is i tried to get my svt dealer to do it and he said that their top tech said raptor shocks arent adjustable! what a *******!
