One way to get an idea of how it looks is to jack up the truck from a point on the front where you just pick up the body (ie tow hook) measure from the ground to the top of your fender well & raise the body 1 1/2". But trust the mass of us that have done it, you wont be sorry you did it. And you could always put it back if you dont like it. If you dont like it, i think you would be the first. I have never heard of anyone who has not liked the mid perch better than stock.

Mid Perch at Ford Dealer

What are people paying for the mid perch mod at a Ford Dealer? (If they'll even do it)

My local dealer is telling me 1.5 hours labor each side (they're quoting their strut work labor charge). He says over $300 just in labor. I'm pushing them for $350 out the door with alignment.

My guy did it for $220. He had to take it somewhere and get the shocks compressed because he didn't have the tool, they charged him $25 a piece and alignment was $60! So total was two shocks =$50, alignment =$60, and labor was $110.
