my alignment is perfect as well but I would like to hear if anyone else is running this cam kit??

Lots of members here have it. I am waiting to get mine before I do my perch adjustment. Alignment shops usually wont do a full alignment adjustment without it. Read the alignment sticky thread that bluesvt recommended its got some good info.

First dealer said not to do it because it can damage the struts, etc. told him to **** off. Talked directly to an SVT tech at another dealer and it is being done on Monday. The guys that helped design the shocks are located at my dealership in Las Vegas.

After trying this myself...i think that removing the coilover is the fastest/best method. Then you can use 4 compressors on it or just bring the whole shock to a shop to do the compressing and snap ring move.

Also i heard the same outa my dealer, and they also mentioned voiding the warranty, which is incorrect. For one i think that the dealer would have trouble proving this mod (which is built in the shock from the factory) would cause whatever failure may be seen in the front suspension.

Hate to be a ****, but these aren't coilovers, they are just internally bypassed large Fox struts. I suppose its literally still a coil over a shock but its not a true coilover.

Adjusting your own shocks is easy guys!!! Get two or three of ya make a party of it.

Hmm, Had an apt with Capital Ford, Wilmington,NC @ 8:00 AM today. Middle Perch & front end align. Service Tech knew what I wanted. Get a call about 1:30 Mr. Taylor did U know FMCo has issued a TSB about your Fox Shock middle perch adjustment? No, but know said adjustment will void my shock warr & do not give a damn. Sorry we can not do adjustment....80 miles, two round trips, **** Em.

So they said they won't do it because it will void your shock warranty?

Guys,

I think the time has come I make one of my video's. You can do both sides in under 45min with a floor jack, wrench, flathead screw driver, allen wrench, socket, spring compressors's and tie-down strap all by yourself in your own drive-way.

I think I will do this tomorrow or Saturday.
