Gotta ask the newb question ....

What is the benefit for mid perch? I'm not seeing any difference in these before and after pics. Does it just pick up the front end a little higher? There has to be some greater benefit than that b/c ALOT of ppl are doing it. I read where someone commented that it evens or levels the raptor out a bit from factory ... But I haven't noticed the rear end being noticeably higher.

Believe it or not, I'm really probably the only one on here that doesn't know.... Not hatin' ... I just don't know.

If you will look at your front shocks you will notice three detent rings that a clip will fit in, just under the spring. The raptor comes from the factory on the lowest ring. Mid perch moves that blue ring on the bottom of the spring up to the middle detent, lifting the front if the truck.

I would argue it lifts the truck but not perfectly level. It is more for looks than anything else. Some folks swear the ride is better.

The ride is noticeably different. Mid perch reduces the roll and nose dive you get with the stock setting. The whole truck feels firmer on turns and while braking.

As for the ride height, I believe it does "look" better even though you only get about 1.25" increase in height. I have bashed in my skid plate even at mid perch. If I were to buy another Raptor, this would be my first mod.

Oh, and it may give you just enough height to squeeze 37" tires in there.

I did mine to fit 37" tires. I failed. But I decided to leave it on mid perch even after going back to 35"s. I think that little extra clearance and leveled look are good. Mine drives nice, but I got new tires at the same time, so I'm not 100% certain who is mostly responsible for that. But it rides crisper and more responsive than stock. IMO.

I'm taking it in next week for a slight vibration at 70mph. Hoping it's just a balance thing.
