I was lucky enough to have a service advisor that replaced the front end in my last truck 2 times for a similar lift issue. I am not going to risk the warranty troubles since I didn't buy my truck at my local servicing dealer. Its a certainty he will void anything I bring to him.

Any competent suspension and alignment shop should be able to do it. I think the one here charges $200 to do a midperch and realign the truck.

Yes, I found a great You Tube video by RPG and had my mechanic watch it. No complicated, Ford seems clueless!

I thought i would just add my experience to this thread for others that are undecided regarding the Mid perch option, etc. After two weeks of ownership and hours of reading and debate i opted to try the Mid perch option for several reasons. Today was the day, completed! WOW, unbelievable difference at many levels. The ride is way better and it looks fantastic! Just for clarity i had a 2012 that had a Day Star and it worked great without any issues, basically a street queen with over 40,000 when i traded for my 2014. Here are some pictures of my 2014 (silver) after Mid perch adjustment and of my 2012 (black) with 2" leveling kit with 37".

My 2012 rode great, however i truly prefer the Mid perch option and handling!

I finally got around to doing mine yesterday after owning her for a year. I don't know why I waited so long, but I did.

Joekai was kind enough to spend his Saturday helping me.

Lessons learned; don't wait a year to do this mod, living in a cold climate where salt is spread on roadways on a daily basis seizes things up tight. Kroil is an awesome penetrating oil, but it isn't that awesome for salt corrosion.

Both set screws were seized and had to be drilled out.

Both blue collars had to be persuaded/hammered up into position.

I'm not mechanically inclined, so with the help of Joe it was pretty easy work.

I took it for a test drive yesterday and I didn't feel any noticeable ride difference between stock and mid like everyone claims they "feel." But it does look cooler and increases the CDI Factor...

Even on Mid, it still looks tiny compared to my buddies F250:
