Pedal commander worth it?

I have a 2013 scab and sometimes i wish the reaction time was quicker when you have to stab the pedal to merge or just getting out in traffic in general. Ive seen plenty of them for sale used which make me wonder if their not worth the asking price.
Any info on personal experience with your pedal commander in a 6.2 raptor??

I think for the price you're better off getting a tune.

JDM does awesome work with their tunes and it massively changes the pedal response. I had their tune on my Gen 1.

I have one on a Gen 2, yes they are worth it. Many of the ones you see for sale are from guys that have but on a Tune, so the Pedal Commander isn't needed anymore.

For the 300 dollar investment I would do for it. I now have them on my other cars, I was impressed by them. Go for it!

As Verrukt said, get a tuner. For the Gen 1's, the main problem is the horrific shift strategy that Ford gave the Raptor. The Commander helps with initial response, but the shift points are still trash. I went 5 star and I have a pedal commander that I have not used it since I uploaded 91 daily tune.

I have the tune by SVC and the pedal commander. I think the tune got me where I wanted to be but the pedal commander will allow you to tweak the feel of the throttle response. I have been very happy with this setup and would recommend it to anyone.

I had one on my old 5.0 f150. When I bought my 12 raptor I swapped it to it. Huge difference!!! I wont run mine without it! It really is a noticeable difference.

I bought one 2nd hand from a fellow here on FRF, love it and am not interested in a tune too soon. Get it, you'll enjoy it.
It was actually the first mod I did to my 2018 SCREW
