The CARFAX for my recently purchased Roush Raptor mentions the PCM being reprogrammed in the past. Being a complete novice I have no idea if this means the Roush tune has been replaced or if that is even possible. I also have no idea how to verify one way or another. Can anyone help?

If you are not happy with how it runs now. I would look into getting the tune from JDM, mine has it and it runs great.

It might just mean that there was an advisory for an update, doesn't mean that it was ever done or required on your specific vehicle. Just like there is a cam phaser update on all gen 2's but only if they exhibit certain conditions.

Truck seems to run just fine but I have no reference points to know if it could run better. The CARFAX appeared to indicate that the service had been performed but no details. $800 plus for a JDM tune seems a little steep without knowing what kind of an improvement it would make. I haven't been in in an enviroment where I can romp on it to find out it's potential yet

Agreed, I wish I could tell you it was better than the roush tune , but it was done by PO before I bought it. It was only a suggestion if you were having issues with the current tune.
