Because he's not ballin' on a budget.

I guess it's just me but I'd rather spend a little more and get a new Tahoe but I don't really like the Caddy. It's a soccer mom car in my neck of the woods.

The Tahoe is nice but the Caddy is a lot nicer inside, and has a lot of extras and features the Tahoe doesn't have. The Yukon Denali comes close. A new Caddy is $92K. It's a bit rich for me.

But drugs don't sling themselves you know...

For some reason I prefer a Tahoe or Yukon over the Escalades...at least the previous models. The new ones are sweet, but I'd keep the raptor...

I would keep the Raptor. I have fought HOA on several issues and beat them at their own game each and every time. What you have in your case is one or possibly two people whining and complaining about your truck being to big for the spot. Look for the obvious little vehicles with the go green stickers on the back and that's probably your enemy problem. You can win and likely no one is going to want to contribute to the costs of a court battle other than the one or two complainers. Fight those ******* and win is what I say.

Tell them to pound sand, and FYI that escalade rides like shit. Mrs drive a 2014 CTS-V coupe, we took it in for service and they gave us one as a loaner ... Im 6'4 after a 20 min ride the back of my thighs were sore from the driver seat, my head was hitting the roof with small dips in the road and the damn thing drove like a oversized go-cart .

Did they put in writing that your truck is "too long"? Did letter come from HOA or HOA attorney? Back in as stated and take pictures of every vehicle in line that is longer making note of each vehicle. Find out if parking spaces are "building code" compliant as far as size. Every jurisdiction is different, but most have size exemptions for a specific number of "compact vehicles", but otherwise have to be large enough to allow for people to ambulate between vehicles.
Fight them! They are usually bluffing and have no ability to back up their complaint. Find an attorney at the gym and ask him if he'll take $50 to draft a simple letter in response to their complaint.

I bet that's not the only thing he'd pay 50 bucks for at the gym lol
