good morning all,

I have been in touch with the guys at TMX about their bed cage, and they have been very responsive up to this point. I like all they are willing to do to help create the bed cage that I want. I also like that their prices aren't as exorbitant as others out there.

now, in the spirit of competition I am wondering if anyone has an alternative to what tmx offers. Really the only thing I would change is switching the Rubbermaid out for a pelican case and adding space to tie down a cooler.

Brandon and the other guys from TMX can totally chime in as well.

(for the record I am still waiting for my scab to be built)

XRD has good recommendations along with Jimmy at WSI. It's what you like. It sound like you want something customized exactly how you want it. The XRD is more versatile to change. Others can create it how you want but that's how it's gonna be.

I agree with what Mobile Beats said. I have the XRD rack and am impressed with how flexible it is. I actually had discussed items with TMX before Havoc about their bed rack when I thought XRD was not going to be able to be delivered in time. Brandon and those guys are great to work with. I have had nothing but good experiences from the TMX shop and their products. The reason i did not go with the TMX rack was due to the flexibility. Changes to the rack where hard to make and required more welding skill than I have. The XRD rack was easier to modify and the base rack let me use my truck as the truck it was intended to be without removal of the rack.

I agree 100 percent with this. Jimmy at WSI can build exactly what you want or the XRD holds everything and lets you move it around however you want. I ended up with XRD. Moving things around this weekend to get ready for SnoBall. My plan is to put different things in different locations based on what conditions I am going to run into.

You can't go wrong with TMX either. Good luck.
