Can't we all just get along. Obviously this was a honest mistake by a jealous driver who wanted to get as close to the Raptor as he could. Wanted to show his truck what a real truck was supposed to look like, thats all. Maybe it was the truck itself that slid over that close. does a bear shit in the woods. You never know.

Not always!
Polar Bears shit in the ocean.

Ruger I get that question alot too. But usually it starts with someone automatically saying its a 50K truck. And im like nope its less then that, then they think im lying lol I think I know what I paid for my truck.

I get the drooling kids also, have to say, the wife & I enjoy the comments. Has anyone else noticed how our running boards also protect our doors from other people dinging us?

Rated, I get adult truck owners who don't believe what I paid for my Raptor! (I'll tell them because an adult will invariably know to apologize for asking such a question, but I don't tell the drooling, hormone inspired young zombies who just want the next cool thing for themselves.)

It invariably starts with the comment, "Wow, nice truck."

I always fight myself then, because what I want to say is, "No, it's cranky, ill-tempered, irrasible, hormonal, evil, wicked, and is invariably in a reasonably filthy mood." But instead I say, "Thanks."

Next comes, "Is that a Raptor?"

To which I proudly reply, "Yes it is. It will go anywhere!"

And then, almost inevitably, comes the Ford F150 SVT Raptor Briefing which involves raising the hood, counting spark plugs, identifying easy to reach components, and a talk about the various off-road modes available.

And THEN comes, "Please excuse me for asking, but what did it set you back?"

And then comes the universally unbelieveable, "$41K even."

Nobody believes it. Nobody.

Holy Hell! $41,000.00, in Canada a fully loaded raptor has an MSRP of $66,250.00!
Is 41000.00 for a base truck.
P.S. I had some one parked close to me and seen I had a fresh mark on my truck I pointed it out to the lady who said " that wasn't me, look I'll show you" she then quickly opened her door and smashed into the same spot a second time. I thought to myself that's what I get for opening my big mouth.

No at that point I was so pissed I thought it would be best just to leave and go home. Even after wacking it a second time this lady would still not admit that she did anything wrong.
A bit of silver paint from her door transferred onto my truck but after some buffing with wax it all came off.
