When you're comparing a mass produced pickup to a $350,000 hand-built Bentley, your expectations are clearly unrealistic from the start. Your complaints are borderline ridiculous; rubber bands under the hood? Sorry, when an F-150 rolls off the line every 53 seconds, sometimes packaging from the components doesn't hit the line floor. I just pulled off a loose tag from my ABS Module today, I suppose I should be outraged and make baseless statements about quality control.
As some others have said, the aluminum panels can often appear to have uneven areas when viewed at certain angles and lighting. I've noticed it on the plastic door handles as well. Once you actually get close to it and run your hand over it, the area is smooth; there is no issue. It's a result of the lighting reflecting on the painted surface.
