Some big players on FRF telling me to keep it, appreciate all of the opinions. It's been a fantastic vehicle serving me well on long highway hauls, beach driving, etc. I don't think I see myself driving anything besides a Raptor.

- My last loaner was a 2024 F150 XLT - the updated technology was certainly a treat. The truck also had the Blue Cruise feature. I haven't driven a Gen3 but I imagine handling is different with the suspension setup.

I have it stuck in my head that to keep it I should be:
- Servicing or upgrading shocks
- Moving to Deavers
- transmission filter / fluid service (NOT FLUSH)

Truck is stock performance/suspension wise. Decent amount of lighting, communications/technology modifications.
I just replaced the shocks (with rebuilds) on my 18 and it drives like new again.

If you look at Gen 1 prices - they've mostly bottomed out around 30-40k for 10+ year old trucks. Gen 2 prices are getting near there so that tells me we're near the bottom of the depreciation curve.

No sense in trading in a reliable known quantity when you're not going to get good trade in value IMO.

I recently did the SDi E-Click + custom revalve and Deavers and it's made me fall in love with the truck again.
