Everyone seems to think they're the exception to the rule... If you want a Gen 3 in 2021 you're paying over MSRP. There will be one or two guys that find a dealer who will do this but almost 100% of people will pay the markup or will need to wait until mid-late 2022. Dealers CAN get $15k over MSRP right now (especially since used Gen 2s are doing for original MSRP) so they WILL. If someone tells you their store isn't doing markups it's because they're misinformed, they haven't even had the conversation internally yet, or they're just plain lying. Most of the cases I've seen so far appear to be that the sales managers and owner hadn't talked yet about whether they're doing markups. One person goes and promises a buyer they won't be because they don't on anything else. Then they do to put the deal together than the owner or GM says "whoa, no no, we're doing a markup on new Raptors." I'll be holding off for a couple years.
Pretty pessimistic view. I ordered one at MSRP. How am I confident that the dealership with honor that deal? I made the deal with the owner of the dealership that sent me to the sales manager to get it done.

Not everyone is out to screw people. Some dealership owners understand that reoccurring future business for parts, service, and future vehicles outweighs the short-term $15K now. Can you make an extra $15K now? Sure? Can you do the right thing and make a customer for life? Seems so, because people are selling at MSRP.

I find it funny that the people that don't want to do the legwork and have talked to three dealers to be told that there is a markup just assume that everyone is doing the same.

We have ours coming and will be developing lots of new lighting kits for it... as well as other products. So keep us in mind guys as you get yours.

We are looking forward to many cool new options. We will ALWAYS take care of you guys on your parts and accessories.... Unlike the dealers that not only mark up the truck, but charge you over list on bed covers, install, etc.

So as you get your trucks, just call or email us. We will will hook you up on ALL your bed cover options, light kits, performance parts, you name it. We develop our own as well as carry almost anything out there.

You will see this truck in our future videos with lots of cool new stuff!

We decided against the 37 package for a few reasons.
1: It is more purpose built for extreme situations. The 37's, no matter how much suspension you throw at them will still be slushier on corners.
2: We aren't big on the graphics and they are baked into the price.
2: The biggest reason. The BLUE suede interior is the ONLY option. The Recaros are great... but unless you get a blue, white or black truck, it doesn't go well. I think the new Code Orange, which looks more like a candy red in most light from the videos and pics I've seen, looks really interesting and it is ONLY available on the Raptor.

We did get the 801 with every option though except the 37 and graphics... Here are some screen shots from Ford's configurator.

Just remember that no one that paid the ADM on the 2017 got that money back when they sold. The people that waited are the ones making money on there 2019 and 2020’s. It sucks to wait but MSRP is enough.

I didn't want to say anything to jinx it after hearing horror stories these past few days but I was in at the dealership on Saturday and put a deposit down for an order they agreed to sell MSRP. They even gave me the buyers order sheet after we were done. Soooo I think I am good? (fingers crossed).. It did take a TON of phone calls so I did put in the work. It's just sad to hear a few of you are getting calls with dealers changing their minds. Was anything put down or signed in writing?

Turns out the dealer I was talking to has 2 on order, they were able to change the color from white to red, I so placed a deposit on it. It is going for sticker.

Said that they would be able to change the order on the black one as well.

Quick update that may shed light to some here after having too many calls today...
1. MAKE SURE you get the B&P details in writing that specify the 37 Pkg with PRICING
2. Buyer BEWARE! there are dealers asking for deposit$ (some even non-refundables) WITHOUT guaranteeing model, so you could be sitting for a 37 not knowing they put you on the allocation for a 35.
3. Call, Call and Call - I've called more than 12 dealers in the Mid-West and have found some selling at MSRP (again- this WILL have to be confirmed in writing) and allocating a 37 pkg.
4. Patience is key - if it doesn't happen it's for a reason, and one that won't make you throw underserved ADM money away to this BS Dealerships...
5. RAPTORS will eventually level out on supply & demand so it may be that our best best is to wait if you can't find something that makes sense to you now.

I'll update all once my order is completed. (fingers crossed it follows through with the current dealership I'm talking to now)
