Order Gen3 with 35s and upgrade with aftermarket 37s

I am waiting and hopefully the R with 37 will have another option for interior...and not pink.

If I can get a v8 with factory 37's, I'll live with the blue if that is all that is offered. I figure the auditory pleasures of 700 ponies rumbling from a v8 will offset the visual pain of a Barbie Blew interior.

It wouldn't surprise me if they watch the reactions to the one color only for the 37 package and make some adjustments. They have been pretty good about listening to the community for the Bronco options and adjusting accordingly.

If not, I will suck it up and deal with the blue because I really want the factory tuned 37 suspension package. My Gen 1 is the only purchase in MY LIFE where I haven't modded the crap out of it.

However, with a twin turbo setup, I imagine I am going to be doing some mods and tuning. I have done the TT route before and almost doubled the wheel horsepower. Not looking to go that extreme with this truck but I will have to tinker. :)

So I have both on order but leaning towards the 35 and doing upgrade 37. I save $7500 and I am sure Fox will have a aftermarket Factory shock package that will be setup of 37s. So I could use the money for those plus some real 37s. From what I can tell the 37 front suspension as a bigger spring for more front lift and internal jounce bumper to limit up travel so the tires don't hit fenders. There rear suspension just has a bigger diameter spring.

The frame where it is knoched for the 37 is bolt on rear crossmember. So I think you can just replace that part and be good for fitting the 37 spare on a 35 truck. There is a couple videos posted.

Yes I called fox a few wheels ago and they did confirm they are going to be some “new” upgraded shocks for the gen3 that will be for sale around Jan-feb. they said they will accommodate 37’s and are better than oem 37 shocks ( remote live valve reservoir)

this is a great point, as excited as everyone is to get the latest and greatest, sometimes its best to sit in the weeds for a couple years and let everyone else figure our what works best with these trucks, and let aftermarket come out and perfect them. As tempting as it is id rather not be apart of the experiment initially

1,000%. I’m gonna sit back, let the hysteria die down, and let the aftermarket catch up before I take the plunge. Probably wait for the mid cycle refresh. I’m in a ‘20 so no rush.
