Whipple has a very long history with Ford. Betting they have access to information and ECU's that most "tuners" do not.

This is in the G2 section.
5star is claiming 416rwhp on a stock (over 2k mile) eco
Whipple is saying that with their intake, IC and tune they get 400rwhp.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Whipple, being an industry leader, is WAY better at tuning than 5* and he's claiming 470rwhp tune only.
Edit: language. I was fired up about work, lol

The rep at Whipple said the guy that reflashes the PCM is a Ford engineer
Am I the only one that sees this and wonders if those numbers from 5* are complete ********?

Defiantly in for this, yeah starting to wonder about the 5* claim now.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any power number claims from whipple? Other than gains....
The Dyno sheets on their website On the raptor page are labeled as being from a 2.3l mustang....
The stage 1 systems couples the Whipple Mega Cooler, roto molded high velocity cold air intake and industry leading custom calibration to make an amazing 150* foot pounds of torque and 80* horsepower more than stock. Even better, at 4000rpm, the system produces over 220 foot pounds of torque over stock giving more power under the curve for incredible throttle response.
I saw that it said mustang under the dyno sheet but those numbers can't be for a mustang. They are 310hp at the crank.
Also, the power numbers are in the description:
The text matches the sheet.
Those numbers can't be for the 3.5... those are for the 4cyl ecoboost motor...
The 4cyl is rated for 310 hp and 320 tq... so that dyno sheet is pretty much on par for the 4cyl
Ecoboost motor. Plus there's no 150 ft lb gain on the torque side
I saw the gain numbers in their description, not actual numbers that got put down.
I'm on my phone so I can't make out the numbers on the side but I believe you.
I still don't see how parasitic loss dropped from roughly 20% to ~8% which is the only way a stock 17 put 416 at the wheels. The ZL1, which has the same 10spd is showing ~15% loss and it's not driving a transfer case or 35s.
Magic I say, pure magic.
