Stuff can't really get under it. It goes up under the bed rails, the front is pretty sealed up. Shouldn't be any issue, and nothing can soak though. Mine sits outside all the time and is fine. Have them send you the free sample of liner. Its pretty tough stuff. I tried to cut mine with a knife, poured gas on it. Nothing hurt it.

By the back glass window where it connects to the back of the bed. There is a lot of opportunity where water runs cause it isnt 100% flush.

So you've been using yours without a tonneau?

Just to clarify... you think if I got a BedTred I'd be fine without a tonneau?

Sorry, but spray ins are really scaring the shit outta me here and I really don't wanna spend over a grand for the whole tonneau and bedliner package.

BedTred works the same way as the BedRug as far as I know. Except the BedRug makes the bottom flat instead of ribbed.

Also know that BedTred is not compatible with the tailgate step.

and there's drain holes all along the front edge of the bed. anything that gets in there between that small gap is running straight down and out those drainage holes.

The reason plastic liners cause rust underneath is the hard plastic chaffs the paint away off the bed, exposing bare metal, and then moisture and water cause rust. The bedrug & bedtred will never scratch the bed up, so no bare metal will get exposed, and no rust will form.

Damn it! Damn it! You guys are confusing me..but at the same time thank you. The more I am looking into the Bedrug...The more I am liking it.

I can do it myself. If I hate it...I can undo it! Once Line-X is in, its there for life.
Custom fit even with tailgate step.
Cover not required and it is designed to handle all weather conditions.
I watched the video on thier site and it appears that everything fits snug under the bedcaps, so there should be no leakage.

Best of all, they have a "No Questions Asked" full 30 day money back guaranty!!! SO I have nothing to lose.

Just changed gears....I am going to try the BedRug!!! :peace:

Well, I bit the bullet. I just bought the Bedrug. $429 with the tailgate step and free shipping.

On Autoanythings site, they had a customer review section under this item. There were 327 reviews..Of the 327, 306 gave it 5/5 stars. I read a good majority of them and its apparent, the buyers love them. Many are repeat buyers from prior pick-ups.

On of the other things I really like about the Bedrug; I spend a fair amount of time in the bed. Either overnight hunting or weekend work crap and spray in bedliners are like killer sandpaper. They are anything but comfortable and can be painful in shorts. This Bedrug looks like you can sleep on the damn thing and be happy. That will be a welcome change from prior spray in liners I have had.

Needless to say, pics to follow once installed. :peace:

Thanks for everyone's input, comments and suggestions. Great forum! :waytogo:

Sounds good, Big Blue. Hope installation goes well. It seems you paid a bit overprice considering the BedTred is going for $380 and I thought the BedRug was supposed to be cheaper??

Anyways, I'll be looking forward to the pics!
