Hey guys, looking to get into the cockpit of a Raptor Screw in the coming weeks/couple of months at most...

Local dealer here has a 2011, new, with the following options
RAPTOR PLUS PKG
HOOD GRAPHICS PKG
INGOT SILVER METALLIC
RAPTOR LUXURY PKG
SVT RAPTOR SERIES ORDER CODE
UNIQUE FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET
PWR MOONROOF

MSRP is $50,515, Invoice at 46,077.

The spec sheet reads almost identical to my wish list Raptor - minus a bed liner, but there a plenty of line-x, rhinoliner, etc. dealers around here that'll do it for a few hundred bucks.

So, my question for those who've had the experience of the wheelin' dealin' dealers - where's a good offer to start, and what is y'all's opinion of an ideal/max price you'd pay for a rig spec'd out like this?

I know that the 'good deal' odds are hopefully in my favor since the '12s are rolling out onto the lots, and my family is a previous customer to this dealership (though I know that doesn't always guarantee subsequent deals)

Also, there's a similarly equipped (everything minus the Lux pkg) USED crew about 20 miles away that is being offered for $46,994 at another dealer... I personally think they're crazy and they didn't even give me the time of day when I went to look at it. It's more or less a "second best thing" option... Otherwise I'll wait until something else shows up. All the 2012s I've gone to see are going at or above (in some cases well above...) MSRP - and for the changes made between '12 and '11 I just assume seek out a deal on an '11. A

Any insight is much appreciated - looking forward to joining the ranks of the owners out there!

I just saw a Ford commercial about discounts and low financing options on left over 2011 F-150's and they showed a Raptor. I paused it and didn't see anything about the Raptor being excluded, maybe check online at ford.com.

I'd start under invoice. You can certainly order one at invoice so paying invoice to get a year old truck doesn't make any sense to me...

Having said that, I doubt they'll sell it for that. If you can wait, just order a 2012. If you need one now, throw them an offer.

Silver is still available so it's not like a molten truck that you can't even get anymore. Get the cooled seats and torsen diff. I'm pretty sure the orders are being processed pretty quickly these days.

Where are you located? Sounds like SoCal with that used 2010 price. I would offer them invoice and see what they want to do. Dealers here in SoCal are sitting on these things and waiting for a sucker...there is one born everyday! If you can wait, order one up. Should be able to get under sticker for an order anywhere.

NO Rebates or "Special" Financing from Ford on ANY RAPTORS 2011 or 2012

Most dealers do not have a 2011 or 2012 Raptor available for sale. Most dealers will only get 1 2012 to sell. MOST of the left over 2011 Raptors, are only there because they were/are asking MSRP or Over $$'s. Most dealers that have a Raptor on their lot, get 4-10 calls per week from others dealers, trying to get them to dealer trade or sell the Raptor???

I would order a 12. It's what I did. I found a few dealers in oct 11 that had ok deals on some 11's but they gave me a pretty good deal by ordering a brand new one with the new changes. Depending where you are the wait can be long (4 months now with another 4-6 weeks to go) but it'll be worth it in the end
