Well since my bed rack is out for powder coating, and found nice match to the fender flair color too, I decided to do some shock tuning and work. took my Fox 2 inch bumps on compression from#120 to #105 to slow the bump harshness at contact. Going to pull rears and install shrader valves and see what the stock valving is in that department. Have been curious of the factory valving for a while now, time to find out!!!

They put some plastic epoxy in the allen hole so I had to play dentist and drill it out. Then I bled down shocks with shock needle the gas pressure and removed the allen holder and rubber, drilled it out and tapped for 1/8" pipe thread shrader valve for gassing up. Make sure you hear all the gas leave, then tap the end cap down to remove the snap ring if it does not tap in it still has pressure. I inserted a 3/8 fine thread bolt to remove end cap. Be careful when or attempting shock work or disassembly!!!
Well... my findigs were... compression #120 and rebound #50. Went to #90 comp and #65 rebound. She feels more settled in the ass now. Oh... good thing I checked valve stacks right had one shim less mid stack than left. Maybe because of gas tank is on that side. I will be watching the bump tattle tails for evenness. I gassed shocks to 200 psi for now and should be fine. I can always gas up bumps for more bump force I am at 100 psi on bump now so have plenty to add....

Well bed rack is back from powder coater. We found a color that is close match to fender flairs. added some quick fists for jack handle and mounted cb antenna so I can converse with the squids and peeps!! Now going to need another spare wheel and tire (hint/hint) so if someone in socal area wants to part with a spare please pm me, no it does not have to be factory beadlock, I will not be that lucky!!!
