One and ONLY gas mileage thread please

yeah, gas has gotten cheaper recently. i wonder why though.

So they can raise the tax then let it go back up lol

I set my Cruise control between 80 and 85mph most of the time and at that speed I can get about 13 to 13.5 mpg with nothing in front of me.

im at 12.1 and have been holding steady there for a few months now. same 80-85 on freeways. and thats 99% of my commute

Ditto. But I always mash it next to prius'... And there is more than you think on the road!

I am in FL.. Its F'n flat here and sea level. I'm also running a tune with LT's and a CAI.

i mean, i go up a hill.... but i have to come back down it.... im at 39,000 miles and my truck is 13 months old. most of my gas was purchased at california **** me prices so even a mile a gallon would make a big difference

I've noticed better mileage at stock ride height (+1-2 mpg over top perch)

But I like the higher setting even more than the mpgs

My truck is an 11, on a good day I get 11.3 running 70 on a 45 minute commute to KCK. I can't even fathom the milage you guys are talking about! Do I need to be taking my truck into the shop to find out if there is somthing wrong with it?

No I'm about the same, I've got 3k miles on the thing tho

LOL,I have 83,000 on mine.
I heard that the newer ones got better mpgs, I would like to know they did it. So I can do it to mine.
