Exactly, why anyone who sees this thinks a catch can isn't needed is beyond me.

No doubt, thats the whole purpose. Still seems like an excessive amount of blow by/ crank case pressure going on there. Looks way more milky than when Ive change my catch cans. Mine always looks like dark oil when Ive drained mine.Yeah I was shocked how much I got out of it, and I spilt some while draining it. I'd rather capture all that crap then have it run threw the motor....just my 2 cents.
I dont know carb laws but i feel bad for people dealing with this Voiding the warranty. That wouldn't happen in many of the southeastern statesThese are illegal in California and they California Ford Dealers will void warranty’s due to CARB laws. I know this for an absolute fact. (Galpin and Vista Ford)
Even JLT will cancel an order if the ship to address is in CA.
from JLT’s website
*This product is NOT CARB (California Air Resource Board) Exempt. It is not for legal sale or use in the state of CA or any other states adopting CA emission standards and require a CA Executive Order (EO) number. Any orders placed for this item with a CA ship to address will be cancelled.
Sadly, I am stuck behind enemy lines or I would have one installed.
And that’s why we want to move. So tired of California.I dont know carb laws but i feel bad for people dealing with this Voiding the warranty. That wouldn't happen in many of the southeastern states

Condensation with accumulate in the cans so if the engine oil looks good, I wouldnt worry.Yeah I thought that about the coloring also. Checked the dip stick and it wasnt milky. Thinking that the weather lately might have something to do with it. Rainy, lots of moisture in the air. Keeping an eye on it.
Sad. Such a beautiful state with some not so productive laws. Id love to live there, but refuse due to my lifestyle not fitting with the governances there. And that’s why we want to move. So tired of California.
