Just picked mine up this evening. The V8 and power is priceless. No constant downshifts and boost buildup for passing. I was going for a darker color originally and then I saw some white ones on IG and knew it was the color for me. I'm hoping for no major qc issues. Undercarriage has a ton of rust, like it went through a major snowstorm with dirt and salt. Some of the aluminum paneling underneath looks pretty salty, almost pitted. I'm hoping it'll clean up when I get my detailer under there.IMG_9579.jpegIMG_9577.jpegIMG_9576.jpeg

Lol people will probably make fun of us, but I picked up one last summer. Colleagues gave me a lot crap for it, but wanted something to daily on bad winter days and keep the nice vehicles in the heated garage. It’s actually very solid for what it is. Cobb just released tuning for the Mav. Like you, mine matches its big bro as well:

Hahaha too good! Ya I’m sure they will… I can feel the comments coming already…

I don’t have to worry so much about the weather being that I’m in Southern CA, however like you I wanted another little truck to daily outside of my Raptor.

I will say, after already putting 1000 miles on it on this road-trip driving it back from Kansas to California (currently in AZ) I’m really impressed with the Maverick, it’s not a raptor of course, but it definitely gets up and goes, especially in Sport mode.

Nice! Ya I originally said I was going to keep it stock, however that didn’t last, I’m not even home and already ordered eibach springs! I’ll have to take a look at that tune!

Dude...I thought you sold your R? Irrespective, don't think anyone cares about Maverick lol. Certainly you are not driving that thing. Bought for the kid?

I decided to keep my R and am going to have RPG do a full build as I originally planned. I have a 2nd R that is in production, however I’m going to keep that one completely stock.

The Maverick is going to be a house truck for anyone to just run around town in to pick up stuff, easier to park at stores and/or around town. Wanted something smaller than my Raptor and SuperDuty for around town.

After driving it back from Kansas, put about 1600 miles on it, I’m thinking of ordering a few of them for my company trucks. They’re good little crossover trucks for a daily to beat up and pick up minimal stuff at Home Depot and such.

Crash and burn, huh, Mav. :hidesbehindsofa:

On a positive note, it is only slightly less better looking than the original Ford Maverick. :p

That certainly makes sense. This way you can put a bumper sticker that says my other truck is a Raptor :)
