Official 2024 Raptor R Order & Delivery Thread

Crazy but apparently some ford worker posting on Facebook that 7,000 early built 2024 trucks (built December to feb) are now sitting needing repairs of some defective parts. That has been fixed on the line so newer trucks built this month and next will likely deliver first as it’s a man power issue getting to and fixing and then testing the older ones!

Honestly, **** it. If it's so minor issue I'd rather have them ship to the dealer and then have a recall on bring to the dealer later to fix it.

Totally agree - but then ford has to pay dealer shop rates to do the repair so it's more cost effective to have them do it internally. Granted I don't really care as my build is for 4/1 and dealer said I should have the car first week of May which is perfect.

My R is showing blend date of 2/20/24, still "in production" last updated 2/26/24.....seems like a delay of some sort- anyone else with similar?

Yeah I read that stuff- this is my 3rd Raptor- rumor mill ran on every Raptor I have purchased . Most of it in retrospect was unsubstantiated …

My dealer confirmed the early trucks are all getting retrofitted. My build is 4/1
