Can't get a 2024 Raptor R priced anything south of $20k ADM. Got one dealer I am working on but I just don't feel like spending the calories this time around. Ive had a 2018 Raptor, 2023 Raptor, and now a 2023 Bronco Raptor. The last two were absolute pains in the ass to find and negotiate. Ford dealers are just plain exhausting at this point. They act like they are Ferrari dealers now.

"Hello peasant, why are you worthy of buying our vehicles"

Dealer I’m going through has said that they have confirmation that they have the first 2 from their orders being built starting 12/18. Mine is unfortunately not one of those. More
Likely after Jan 20th. That’s the estimate anyway.

Are those for 2024 Rs? They have actual allocations then I’d assume if they’re slated to be built 12/18? Still can’t get word from my dealer that they have true 2024R allocations handed to them from Ford, just a “my order is in, and when they get the allocation, mine is #1 with them…”.

Along with most recent Facebook R forum talk as of two days ago, that Ford ran out of parts to build the 2023 Rs, so what’s built is it, and that supposedly 2024 Rs won’t be be built/ shipping till august 2024 now for some undisclosed reason ( maybe issues from the strikes, parts/ supply chain) or is this just internet tom-foolery???

I’ve heard nothing from my dealer either (I’m one and done for 2024 allocations per the GM). August would be quite odd since 2025s orders would be coming out in the next month. Most OEMs are really ramping up business now (ironic as demand is slowing with the current economy)

I figured I’d check in early next year where the build is at.

I will say I still find it odd that zero 2024 R reviews are out there and that even the Horsepower hasn’t been announced.

Only things I can imagine is they want a soft start with everything going on strike wise to start the base 24 raptors on the line, work out kinks, and/or if they have supply issues with the new dual valve shocks for the 37s and Rs . Maybe they haven’t met the emissions testing or similar on the R since they’re getting increased power…

One thing you can rule out is anything strike related as far as the actual plant. The strike did not include the plant making F150 and nothing was mentioned in bulletins concerning constraints on certain components for the F150 - unlike MANY constraints on components for the Super Duty

Rs and 37s won’t be scheduled for the next month. They are currently scheduling base model raptors for build in Feb.

Based on the scheduling bulletin from today

I’m 99% sure I saw a truckload of 2024 XL’s leaving the KC plant yesterday. I didn’t think Job 1 started yet, but the front grille stands out compared to the 2023’s.
