Only thing I’m going to miss is the heated steering wheel being in the northern OH area during winter.

Over on some other forums people are tearing down steering wheels and seeing that it looks like all we’ll need to retrofit the heating function is a clock spring with the heating connection - which can be ordered. If you want a physical heated steering wheel button the control unit that includes it would be required as well, but they’ve discovered there’s a way to enable a heated steering wheel button in the infotainment using FORScan, bypassing the need for the new control unit.

Fingers crossed the 1/30 build date I was given doesn’t shift.

Tearing apart the steering wheel on a $111k - $150k "one of a kind" Raptor R sounds amazing.

Maybe I'll tear apart the dash on my turbo S.....

I am not picking on individuals here, but it's crazy to not get the basic functions in the highest level of trim in the F150 line-up. I realize the heated steering wheel option is the not the be all - end all, but for this kind of money for an F150....

No disagreements here, but I'll be adding it myself when I get my truck. I have zero confidence Ford will be retrofitting like some dealers are claiming.

Ford is dropping the ball big time here on their halo truck. I'll fix it myself because I can and I'm not afraid to pull a wheel off (shouldn't take more than an hour tops).

Why do you not have heated wind shield on your Turbo S, at least I don't. That is totally puzzling to me as it is one the most used features on mine.

Received confirmation that my Raptor R has been Shipped! View attachment 388142
Exciting! Congrats!
My dealer told me this morning his first 2 R’s will be at dealer shortly! Shipped.
What i find interesting is ford pulled all info from search on R’s from website!
One day there vanished the next. Shows zero R’s within 400 miles although i know of at least 6 that are on way to AZ

Just wondering why Ford can’t fit heated steering wheel function in if the only thing it needs is the heating connection on the clock spring.
