All. All good input and I certainly don't pay more for products to throw away good money. However, I spoke with three different Ford dealers and even called Ford directly (although that didn't get me anywhere) and the common thread was, the wheels Ford Racing sells are not the same wheels as OEM, point in fact, if you read through the description on the ford racing site, you'll note they do not refer to the actual
wheel itself as a OE or OEM, they do however state the headlock ring is OE. I also called a ford racing tech and he said he didn't think they are the same wheels and he said there is no "SVT" stamp on the wheel they sell, my rims have that stamp

Having said all that, yes, the stamp on the back does say China. Funny side note, the stamp has a DOT rating????

Does anyone happen to have a set of these wheels they purchased from Ford Racing?

Todd

That's just the fake beadlock ring anyway with the SVT on it you still need to buy the real ring to make the beadlocks. The picture you posted has China on the inside of the rim.

I'd take them back to the dealer immediately. The Ford racing ones are made in China, your ones from the dealer are made in China, both will be DOT stamped, both are the same exact wheel. I'd go back to the dealer and refund them and put several grand back into your pocket for tires or other mods!

I'm sure you are correct. The price is from the Ford Racing catalog is cheaper and the higher price is out of the Ford OEM parts catalog. The parts manager probably does indeed think they are different wheels, that's the only thing that makes any sense.

If you keep them they are going to look killer and be kind of rare. Personally, I'm too cheap. If I'm going to go big, then I'm with Netix and going with pro am.

I dont have access to a 2013 beadlock but i am pretty sure after comparing it for 40 minutes at svt to my TR racing beadlocks and even with the ring.... They are still not a REAL beadlock...
The point of a beadlock that it takes trashing on the sides of the rims and sidewalls.... The ford beadlock looked like a wimp conpared to mine... Or mickey thompson beadlocks or any other beadlocks i have ever used

Well... let me chime in here.

A week ago, $1250 ea for the FACTORY beadlocks was a great deal.

YES, that is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive but like OP stated, they retail for $1750 EACH. Like I said, if you are wanting them, $1250 ea is steal.

Now that the Ford Racing ones are released, they are the EXACT SAME wheel for $699 ea however they INCLUDE both the simulated SVT beadlock ring and the REAL beadlock ring.

The $699 ea price is giving them away IMO.

That being said, I love the way they transformed my truck when I installed them. So MEAN and AGGRESSIVE looking.

Like I posted before - the price deal is just like the price difference on the 2009-2012 black Raptor/FX headlights. They retail at the dealer for MUCH more than you can purchase a pair for as an "accessory" item from Ford. EXACT same headlights.

Same deal with the wheels.

and to add on.... hey if you want them, you like them, more power to you!

I lucked out and got a great deal on mine and basically offset the cost by selling my new takeoff stock wheels. But that being said, I would have pretty much paid whatever the price was because I thought they looked awesome.
