took delivery this afternoon for my 10/23 build date.

72 "test miles"

shifted fine on way home through sleet, a lil snow (in ATLANTA mind you)

Ford left a nice door ding in lower passenger door driver's side. Dealer fixing on Monday.

I will post some pics once it get's fixed

Congratulations!!!! I'm glad you got it in time to play in the snow this weekend. I'm extremely jealous of you, because you know this will probably be our only snow this year in Atlanta, so I am going to miss out on the fun.

Well FP confirmed my 10/19 build is at the end of its rail journey east in MA. ETA 1/9-13 - my dealer padded this and said late next week or the following week. Added the caveat maybe sooner. Hate posting this w/ so many with undetermined dispositions. But hope this info provides hope the Oct builds are mowing.

Pulling for everyone especially darin and scrappy you guys have been optimistic throughout. Almost there.....

yep..... it's about 3/8" long and chipped the paint.

can't wait to put that one on the survey from Ford. As well as that is was:

a multiple month wait....
had 72 test miles.....
came in looking like it went muddin' in a swamp in South GA....
salt residue on the running boards....

K.. done whining.

Glad my truck is finally here.

I would be whining too! what are your plans for prepping the vehicle? Are you letting the dealer clean and prep it, or are you getting someone else to do it (or doing it yourself? I've seen so many people say they are telling their dealer not to touch it, now it has me considering the same thing.

I am going to have them clean it. Then I am going to use a blue pad and buff out the paint myself. I want them to clean it, as there is mud in the wheel wells form Dearborn "testing" the vehicle. I will buff it because I don't want swirls. Plus there is a ton of water marks /spots on the paint from being at ramp 59 for two months.

It's all good though as it will be perfect when I am done with it.

My GT350R had the same water spots I had to correct. Now the car is perfect. I did NOT have them prep the interior on the Shelby, as I wanted to unwrap it myself. (so I could save all the plastic, etc.)
