Was just out at ocotillo. It was dead today but next weekend will be packed. Weather was great - about 74 at noon.

Dust wasn't bad.

Coolest part, I went over to fonts point and got 3 miles in and there was 2 trucks stuck in sand. Guy in a 1 ton dully stake truck asked me to pull it out. Raptor made us proud - I pulled him out like a toy.. He was working on a movie they are shooting up there about Jesus last days in the desert starring Ewan Mcgregor. He was a nice guy.

my plan is to be there around 3am saturday morning. spend all of saturday offroading with you all. but sunday is my relax day. i plan to spend a few hours blowing shit up. i am bringing a small arsenal with me so i can have some target practice. if anyone wants to join me, feel free. if anyone wants, i can bring small caliber firearms too

Little worried about next weekends weather. Will watch closely. 10 day Weather channel on net is showing 30% friday and 40% friday night. Saturday looks like the percentage drops to 20%! So far with those chances im still down to go. For wind I think whoever is bringing toy haulers and campers too we should park in a circle around the fire pit to help block the wind for fires. Otherise the fire will not be as good. Lets hope that percentage drops the closer it gets!
