How come I can't change any of the options and or color if the truck won't even be produced until November 30th???

If you could see my face, I'm doing that squinting eyes thing as though I don't trust you...

Background on my build...the local dealer (actually the only car dealer on the island who also happens to sell appliances and ATV's) told me she couldn't get me a Focus RS and asked if I would go for a Raptor instead...I said yes, but she then told me the options were already chosen and that I couldn't make any changes to the one she was allocated....

Come on guys. he lives in Alaska...That could very true. The way it works with new car dealers and allocations is basically depends on how big the dealer is, volume and sales. So sounds like you live in a small town where you can buy beer, a hunting tent and order a truck if you wish at the same place. Your dealer probably got a "bone" from Ford or a built sheet for a truck that's has been ordered in that package.
Reach out to main land....or draw a big SOS in the snow

Sorry after reading the whole post. Get the truck at MSRP and pay your 52.50 tax. Whatever it takes, do it. GLWP

See back in '14 I would've been cautious as well since ford was saying they didn't have a dealership on the island but I checked with the ford website and they do you recognize this as an actual dealership and she does do warranty work and they have a full ford parts shop. I ought to take a picture of this dealership to show how small it is.

Also was going to mention if you know any big Shelby Mustang aficionados, she is selling a GT 350 at just $2000 over MSRP ...which is rare...no idea why she thought she would be able to sell that in a fishing town

Good to hear they are a recognized Ford store. I have seen a few small Ford dealers in the UP of MI as in 1 car on the showroom floor and 3 service bays before. I guess give it a try.
