I am good friends with the owner of Induction Solutions the worlds nos leading expert. If I could get a nos setup dialed in on my raptor, would anyone be interested in this as a performance mod? I think the 6.2 could take a 200 to 300 shot.

Just out of curiosity, why run NOS in this truck? I've run it in a lot of vehicles and its great for drag racing but a pain everywhere else. Seems like you would run out quick in the raptor if you wanted more power off-road.

goathearder pretty much stole my reply. It's a truck, a bad ass truck, but still a truck. I know everything about this thing screams excess is best, but why spend the bucks to drop a second off the quarter mile when every (or most) mustang or corvette would waste you regardless.

If you can tell me where NOS would be applicable other than straightaway speed, I am listening and interested.

Even if nos was the right solution for more power, I don't buy 200 to 300 would be close to what this motor can safely take stock. I run an LS 7 based motor with nothing stock except the block and even that I sent out and had it sleeved. My motor builder says 350 hp max and I run 275 to be extra sure. This motor has callies crank and rods , all pro heads , performance induction intake manifold yada, yada , yada. I don't see nos working for this truck. Tim

Baaaaad idea. If your friend is the expert you say he is, he would think that amount was laughable.

200 to 300 shot.................no way in hell I would try that! I know quite a few engine builders and have had my hands dirty helping build many for my nephews race team and I can't imagine anyone with build experience looking at the 6.2 and saying "ya that will take a 200 to 300 shot". Your friend may be an expert with NOS i'm not doubting that at all but I think he needs to step back and look at the 6.2 platform and understand the design limits/characteristics.
