Nobody is negotiating around here!

Well, I'm actively looking for my 2010 6.2 extended cab Raptor and the trucks that are "basic" - those without Nav, backup camera, or Moonroof, etc. - are being discounted a little bit - say $2500-3000 off sticker. However, those that I want with Nav and Moonroof and all the goodies aren't being discounted at all - the best that I've found is $1000 off sticker. I keep reading on this forum about guys getting $4000-5000+ off sticker. How are you guys doing this? I went on Edmunds and looked up the MSRP versus dealer cost and have pointed out to these dealers that they would still make money even if they gave me $3000 off the price that I want but they seem to think that they don't need to discount. This is even though the two Ford dealers that I drive by regularly haven't sold a Raptor in 2 weeks as far as I can tell. I don't get it. I'm ready to buy now with cash but they don't care. Needless to say I'm a little frustrated. Any negotiating advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you bought from them before?
All I can say is raise a stink, also cash to dealers doesn't make a difference.

with the more heavily optioned trucks in the 48,500+ range there's about $4000 in mark-up. with what you're describing i would image about half of that. good luck. p.s. did you see if Randy can get you a truck?

Awesome truck i loved everything about it other than the Moon Roof,and no remote start :~( Remote start Rules!!! I couldn't Live without it Now!

The Truck was 99.9% Perfect in my book only had one Flaw that i seen, in the drivers door there was a Small spot that looked like something was on the door when they sprayed the clear coat,and in think it could be buffed out!!! it was the size of this period .

The guy prolly thought i was crazy cause i layed under the rear to see that sensor that broke on the other members truck... I told him about that and Ask if the truck was in the Bottom perch on the Front Shocks LOL he looked at me like ? I then told him about the three setting on the Front Shock and the different stances...

I Told him he really needed to learn more about what he was trying to sell :~)

I Told Him i Was a FRF member and that it was a Good Place for Him to learn about the Raptor!

I can't wait for tax time :~) cause i will start looking for the Lead Foot Raptor after i get that Mad Tax Money to go down on it with what i already have!

Also have 1 on order, being delivered to Seattle area for a guy in Alaska.
