Are there any no or low cost performance mods that are no brainers to do? For example, on our Mach 1 Ford added a plastic piece in the intake that lowered horsepower. Removing it gains 13hp that has been Dyno tested. Anything like that on Gen3s?

Would it be worthwhile to list mods from cheapest to most $$ in relation to cost? I'm sure it has been talked about in relation to Stage 1 and Stage 2 Mods along with a tune. It would sure help me plan the sequence of how my mods will be timed.

The 3.5eb is pretty efficient from the factory, there are really no freebies or cheap bottlenecks. The only “free” performance mod is to use the best 93 octane fuel available to you.

Aside from that, in terms of bang for the buck, a tune would be the next step for sure, but not free.
