as i said in the main post i changed the batteries to new onesHave you tried changing the battery in the fob?
as far as i checked everything is plugged in, I only know the transceiver in the trunk and in the interior under the back seat dashthere are multiple antennas for the transciever. this is what allows the key to communicate with the vehicle. i dont know where they are located on a mustang, but you statement about "rebuilding" has me tend to think that something is unplugged somewhere. @FordTechOne might have some more insight though
you can do a continuity test on the antenna wires to the module. make sure the cable didnt stretch and break. they are small and i have seen wires stretch to where the wire broke but the insulation did not, so it looked perfectly fine. a continuity test will verify that.as far as i checked everything is plugged in, I only know the transceiver in the trunk and in the interior under the back seat dash
How could, I test that? I have checked the plug before it seems to be fine, any idea how can i check the continuity test?also, check the plug itself. even though its plugged in, it might not be making contact. again a continuity test from the antenna to the other side of the connection will tell you
use a multimeter. How could, I test that? I have checked the plug before it seems to be fine, any idea how can i check the continuity test?
