Sage, I guess that's true, but I really have no fear of it where I live. This is the land of chrome, diesel and jacked up pickups. Nobody will intentionally harm another's vehicle even if they're not above stealing some gas.

Stealing gas is only part of what I want protected.

How about your "friendly" pissed off ram/chev/toy/?? owner placing unwanted material in your tank??

The reason why I wanted one. Once the tree huggers figure out our trucks get the same as an H2....:idiot:

No gas cap gas cap

Has anyone seen or heard of a locking sealable gas cap insert for our no cap fuel system? It makes me want to be able to lock it up. Any punk or naredowell could easily come up an siphon or cause major damage by dumping stuff down our fuel tube.

As above! I bought my locking gas cap and put it on before I left the dealer on the day I picked up my Raptor!! Same as locking lug nuts!!

I purchased mine just before a big road trip. It's not going to stop a determined person, but some of my more interesting neighbors might move on to the next vehicle.

It says it prevents siphoning, but couldn't you just shove the filler tube in and then drop a siphon tube down that?
