GEN 2 No auto adjustment for headlights?

Headlights are one area where the F150 is really lagging behind. My guess is there will be a significant redesign/improvement with next gen. Not only by having auto-leveling or at the very least, a manual adjustment by way of buttons inside the cabin. (both would be ideal) but also overall better light output/beam pattern. I believe the headlights are the only reason it didn't get IIHS top safety pick recently.

I will bet the farm Ford will never offer either auto adjust or remote adjustment of the headlights other than the required adjustment at the units themselves.
And for the record, the current headlights are actually quite good to my surprise but are sensitive to the adjustment and in normal circumstances they need to be adjusted up a bit, however, the high beams are very heavy centered like spots, they light very far and deep but not very wide.

if by quite good you mean significantly worse than RAM or GM then I guess you can say they’re quite good. They are rated quite poorly so I’m not entirely sure what metric you’re using or what you’re comparing them to.

How effective are these Baja lights in the rain when it's dark? I'd really like something that helps with throw a little better. Would the 6x bumper lights be of help?

Hard to believe 250 lbs in the bed would cause that much sag in the rear. I'll have to experiment with that once the weather is warmer.

My lights was on the limit. With my bike in the bed made big differences. We should keep in mind that the bike is longer and the the bed is open on rear. That five some extra. Now i did the adjustment and i am ok with it. I was travelling with 4 person an the lid full of baggage and ski equipment. Little bit was high the light. On acceleration some of the opposite cars flashed me. But here in Europe this lighting thinks are very sensitive. All cars has interior adjustments.

perhaps consider doing supplementary airbags w/ daystar cradles int he rear?

If you wire them to an on board air system you can either set them up for in cabin controls, or with an autoleveling system that will keep your truck "leveled".

I use a similar system on my F250 and it works very well.

Yeah, my 1994 Toyota has a headlight adjustment in a cabin.
Especially a pick up should have. Is made to carry heavy thinks. Every time to adjust... But we forgive because is a raptor

My 2005 Saabaru had that too and it was a compact wagon. Weird that trucks don’t.

There is no 'auto alignment' headlight feature. Has the front of your truck been lifted? That would create an issue compounded with additional weight in the bed. I would suggest loading the bed as you would travel the majority of the time and have the headlights adjusted to that level. Good luck.
