ive ran nitrous on a number of different applications...i agree when some of yall are saying it is greatly misunderstood. It all comes down to the tune and that goes for all forms of forced induction especially turbo or SC.... cool thing about nitrous is you dont have to run it all the time. I run mine on a window switch with thats all controlled by my throttle. You can set the desired RPMs to spray and it will only spray within that range at WOT. Run a dry kit they are safer and as long as you purge your lines your gonna have a fairly quick hit....its not a terrible difference although foggers and wets are better. a solid tune and a dry kit with a small 50-75 shot nozzle on it id say would be perfectly safe.

currently im only using nitrous on my drag car to help spool the turbo for launches but other than that im still debating a 75 shot on my raptor.

When I want to run nitrous I go to the dentist and then come home and put a copy of fast and the furious in the bluray player. Then decide what I'm going to spend my money on instead of nitrous. I don't see the point in it on a truck like ours. For our drag cars. Yes. For a desert truck. No. Imho

Just curious if anyone knows if medical grade nitrous is the same as the stuff run in cars. NOT planning on running it in my truck.

I can't remember but it actually happened to me one time lol. I had just gotten pulled over after spraying down a back road. So I reached back and closed the bottle (so I thought) and hit the quick disconnect on the line so I wouldn't get in trouble. Turns out I didn't close the bottle all the way and when I was pullin into my neighborhood I was like Jeeze I'm tired and lightheaded....then I realized what was happening lol.
