I LOVE that this truck has the physical button to shut off the screen completely. I find screens distracting during the night at times and enjoy the cabin being a bit darker.

but.............

Does it really need to turn back on every time you change a track or adjust the volume? Kinda defeats the purpose of it.

Am I doing something wrong and missing a setting somewhere?

Quick update in case someone cares at some point.

I figured it out. If I am on the Apple CarPlay screen, it behaves like above. If I am running CarPlay, but select any other option on the lower part of the screen (audio, nav, setting, features, etc), it behaves like I assumed it would (it stays off while I adjust tracks and volume).

Not sure if it's glitch with CarPlay or not, but at least it's been solved.
