Yes, ANd this makes over 200 more HP to tire. Stupid fast from a roll but not so much from standing start. Even with the CalTrac bars I just added it helped but simply way too much TQ on bottom end. With proper tire and prepped track I think it would go in the 2's to 60. Easy mid 3's with a few tweaks from where it's at now. I did find it will do 60-0 in under 3 seconds so has really good brakes too.

Because of my short tires and 3.5 gearing a Raptor would need a 4.80 rear gear to be equal.

I would need a 3.00 gear in this to equal the Raptor on 37's with the 4.10 rear gear.
I have not tried leaving in 2nd gear yet. Thinking if I do leave in M2 it should shift not stay in gear? Never tried it yet
Love how you grasp/understand/just ephing know that tire size (most specifically diameter) is part of the over all gear ratio.

I have tried to explain this to 100's of people and I get a glazed over look in their eye pretty fast.

well, this old fart been around a while!
I tried launching from M2 and far too much TQ. I was still partial throttle and hitting rev limiter and it did not shift into 3rd gear. I will need to change gearing to taller 3.0 to make it go faster. But, the CalTracs are for sure doing the job. One can feel the rear rise on shifts simply not enough tire to hold grip.

Well done, I’ve kicked around the idea of doing something like this quite strongly. My wife like most women likes to play dress up and says we need a classic Sunday cruiser. By the time the kids move out maybe ford will have a drop in ev set up for us to play with. I hate to say it but I’m starting to come out of the cave with some of the new technology. I like the idea of electrifying some of the older unreliable euro sedans.
