So, I'm probably not going to make it to the dealership tomorrow but chances are by the end of the week, I might be a Raptor owner.

I did a lot of number crunching the last couple of days and have found a way to swing reasonable payments.

Honestly the hardest part is the idea that I'll be owning a $60k truck. I would have never have thought I would be here, by now. I'm sure I'll get some grief from people over it, but, no wife, no kids, why not?!

Any thoughts on warranties, etc?

Don't need to decide on the warranty now. Shop it. It's a lot cheaper online. You have 3 years or 36K miles to decide.

Okay awesome. GM was the same way, I wanted to double check before I started to negotiate.

The truck doesn't have a bed liner or anything. I'll have to see if they can spray it for me, for cheap....

Looking forward to the new owner post. Hope it goes well for you. FYI the Ford spray in liner was like a $400 option IIRC, Line X is like $500 and I paid $750 for Line X Premium paint matched spray in liner.

How does the Ford compare to the Line X? We only have Rhino Liner around here.

Don't get the Ford factory liner unless that is the only thing you find on a lot that has it already. I thought the price of the ESP went up slightly after 12k miles then its about the same until 36k?

Yes this is the most expensive vehicle I've owned too and at first was a little difficult to get over. But once I got it that went away rather quickly. And who cares what others think, they will just be jealous anyways.

Good to know about the bed liner!

I'm sure you're right. I had a 730+hp Corvette for awhile and I got a lot of dirty looks...didn't bother me then. I'm getting excited now!

Like RDTFS said don't get the Ford spray in liner they spray over all the bolts. Rhino and Line X remove all the tie downs and bolts and then spray. I even had the sales guy recommend not to get it as it isn't as good as Rhino or Line X.

Yup....don't drive it unless you want it....lol...took a whole 10 miles before I had it sold in my mind.....lol.

Yup I had been searching etc, knew I wanted one and planned to buy, but as soon as I test drove one finally that was all she wrote. Emailed the Fleet Manager and set the ball in motion. The rest is history.
