On the freeway I want to switch to Sport Mode and I accidentally put the truck in rock crawl(4 low)? Is this very bad?

If you maintained a straight line, you should be ok. Probably churned up some R’s though. True 4x4 modes are for off road (soft terrain) only, or pure snow or ice. 4A is good for on road especially in wet or frozen conditions. You would know if you broke something I’m sure.

The truck will reject a drop to low range if you’re moving too fast. Too fast is something like 6mph or something.

You don’t want to be in 4h on dry pavement, much less 4L. 4A is fine.

Should be fine. It is a pretty horrible user interface though. It should be a +/- to get to the mode and then a confirmation tap on "Ok" or similar. Maybe not for all modes, but for some for sure. I'd much prefer a physical dial over this selector as well.

As mentioned by the other guys, it should reject the command as shifting to 4L would require the tranny in neutral. However, I'm not sure what it will revert back to. I would imagine it would revert back to the previous setting (so if you did it from normal, then should go back to normal). It will engage 4A and 4H at speed though. I believe it is up to 55 mph. I like experiments; I might try it and see. When in doubt, #RTFM.
