I guess it's better than small boobs or batteries :Stupid Me:
Welcome! A HUD would be cool and useful.

When I first saw "TheDoubleAA", was thinking Winchester was getting us a deal on ***** loads. I was fooled... :sorry:

I'm planning on making a very nice and very inexpensive plug and play ambient light system. I'm also working on some stuff that would be completely custom that no one would have or have seen ...
I also see you have a kit for ambient footwell lighting. I am very interested in this since the interior is so damn dark at night. Is there a way you could put a plug-n-play kit together for the Raptors?

Negative. The HUD windshield does help out yes but is not required.
:welcome:
Don't we need a special wind shield for the HUD.
I had 2 Pontiac Grand Prix and both with HUD's. Loved it and miss that option big time.
Would be very cool to have for sure.

in about a year or 2 when the Laser displays are a reality.

oh i cant wait to get one of these..... hmm can we make them less blocky than the one in the photos above?

Appreciate it and can't wait to design some very cool stuff for y'all as well. I just got home from the shop and setting up my new laser cutter ... :everything:
welcome! cant wait to see what goodies you come up with!

The DoubleAA is who installed my Door Projectors. He has a couple of Pics on the vendor thread. Great mod, no regrets. The model I have is for a single image, but he has a model with a removable projector lens so you can easily swap out the image. When I move my current projectors to the back doors, I will get the newer ones for the front :).

We still need to coordinate a visit to test fit some ambient light concepts, but even though we live in the same city, he is 50 miles away. Got to love Texas. I know I do.

I just wanted to give him some positive feedback on a great product.

Where is his shop? I'm also in Houston (obviously) and might be closer and could help out with fitment of certain parts also if he wants/needs somebody else.

Any ideas what sort of HUD's could be used on the Raptor?

I'd love to have tranny temp, current gear, and speed....

If I can get the wiring diagram for the car I might be able to have all that show up plus some including radio stations etc...

Damn dude Kemah is like 60 miles from me, but I'd still be more than happy to help you out if you need a test fit vehicle!

I am also highly interested on an interior ambient lighting kit. I live in Houston and have a raptor on order.

For a neat install and quality product I would drive anywhere.
